About — A signal, not a slogan
A signal, not a slogan.
HZRD started in Cairo with one observation: most embroidered caps you can buy in Egypt are made badly. The thread is too thin. The stitch density is wrong. The logos pucker, fade, and flake after a few washes. People accept it because they've never been given the alternative.
We built HZRD to be the alternative — and to make it impossible to ignore.
The name is the point. A hazard is something you notice without having to look. That's the job of the brand: be the warning sign that tells you what real headwear feels like, so you stop accepting what doesn't.
We make one product, in two silhouettes, in eight colors. That's it. Every cap carries the HZRD wordmark — no secondary logos, no side embroidery, no chase of the next graphic. We don't need more. The discipline of one mark, executed perfectly, is the whole brand.
The caps are built with cotton twill or washed cotton, structured or low-profile, hardware that holds. The wordmark is stitched in dense 3D puff or laid flat — your choice. Both done by people who know what good embroidery looks like.
We're based in Cairo. We ship across Egypt today, beyond Egypt soon. We're not chasing scale before we've earned the right to it. The first chapter of HZRD is small on purpose — a small set, made well, given the time it deserves.
If you've owned the wrong caps before, you already know why this exists.
Welcome to HZRD.
